This cake is based on the original soldier's cake recipe, made to send out to the Australian Forces during World War II.  It is handmade and decorated.  Cooked traditionally in Baylies kitchen, using local and the highest quality ingredients.  A very moist cake which has excellent keeping and maturing qualities with nothing artificial added.  Brandy from South Australia’s Barossa Valley is used in generous proportions to highlight the richness of this Classic Australian Cake – Enjoy!
