The Colonial Doll House Kit Design is a popular doll house kit that offers spaciousness with simplicity of style and distinctly Australian character. The "Colonial" typifies  the spread of the garden suburb house style that was a feature of metropolitan expansion in Australia from the mid-twentieth century onwards.

The "Colonial" kit comes unpainted.  However, the Windows, Shutters and Balustrade do come pre-painted so you will need to select the colours at the time of ordering. If you like the colour choice in the photo above simply proceed with the order online or by phone and we will supply the windows, shutters and balustrade painted in the Colonial Dolls House Kit as per the photo.

If you would like a different colour choice (see colour selection below) of the windows, shutters and balustrade in the photo please inform us you colour selection in the Special Instructions in the online order form or by phone or email. We will confirm your choice by email.

Comes in a flat pack box unassembled (1:12 scale). The kit comes with easy to follow instructions as well as nails and screws. The kit builder will need to supply wood adhesive, some solvent glue for window insertion and (if applicable) some contact cement to attatch the corrugated iron to the roof.
