This Winemaker's reserve wine encapulates the essence of the Hunter Valley and our own winemaking style. The aromas of rich mulberry and cassis characters and balanced with savoury earthy Hunter tones. This is finished with some dusty tannins from new and aged oak barrels. This wine was cellared in our air conditioned cellars to allow the fruit and oak to integrate in the bottle for two years prior to release.
Our Winemaker's Reserve Pinot Noir is a perfect example of the unique pairing of this specific variety with such optimal micro-climates and is made from premium batches of fruit sourced by our winemakers from the Huon Valley, Tasmania. It shows lifted and delicately perfumed primary fruit aromas with balancing savoury, earthy complexity and subtle Frecnch oak giving depth and intensity on the palate and finish.
